Round Rock Ballet Folklorico
About Us
Yolanda Sanchez founded 501C3 nonprofit Round Rock Ballet Folklórico in 1988 to offer everyone an opportunity to learn and grow through the art of dance. For over 35 years and counting, hundreds of dancers are invited to express themselves through dance and give back to their community. Round Rock Ballet Folklórico dancers come from the many different ethnicities and cultures, and all are welcomed. Each student who participates walks away with a unique perspective about Mexican heritage and the different cultures that have influenced Mexico for generations. We open our doors to anyone who is interested in furthering their knowledge of the dance and the culture of Mexico.

Testimonials
“As a child, I always wanted to learn how to dance ballet folklorico, but my family could not afford the extra cost. Through their affordable rates and mission, Round Rock Ballet Folklorico has made it possible for my daughter and I to both experience the art of dance together, immerse ourselves in our Mexican culture and share it with others in our community.”
- Sandy, RRBF Dancer and Dance Mom.
“I love everything about dancing ballet folklorico! It is my culture and the outfits RRBF has for us to perform in make me feel confident and proud. Maestra Sanchez makes learning ballet folklorico fun and she helps us be confident. The first time I performed I was so nervous, but after that, it was so much fun. I feel like RRBF is family and I can be myself. ”
- Robyn Vega, RRBF Dancer.
